Jet45 Interfacing Options

OpenCockpits I/O modules provide a flexible and simple interface to Jet45 Advanced Avionics Suite (Jet45 AAS).
Expandible modules allow inputs from rotary encoders, switches and outputs for LEDs and displays. SIOC programming language (not required for Jet45 AAS) allows richer modeling elements such as timers to be implemented. See Opencockpits
for more information.

Leo Bodnar BU0836X boards are an inexpensive and robust solution for interfacing to Jet45 AAS. Easy connect terminals allow rapid interfacing. These boards are should be used with the FSUIPC module interface inside of the FS enviroment. The BU0836X board (joystick controller) can be used to interface switches and potentiometers. See leobodnar for more information.

High capacity I/O is what the Flightdeck Solutions boards are all about. Multiple options allow for small general aviation cockpits to complete airline flightdecks to be interfaced to one I/O card. Jet45 was developed and tested with the Sys cards in mind. Easily configured without any programming language required, they are a complete solution for Jet45 AAS software. See Flight Deck Solutions for more information.

The Pokeys 55T I/O module is a mid capacity PC interface card that has been shown to be an excellent interface option for rotary encoders to Jet45 AAS. With a capacity up to 25 rotary encoders per card along with LED, LCD, and analog input and output, it is an excellent value. See PoLabs for more information.

One of our users has developed a simple yet elegant utility to setup and use the Pokeys cards with our RMU here.

We have developed a program that you can use to directly interface your rotary encoders from the Pokeys device to Jet45  here.
